Reports To: Fleet Manager / Site Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and experience driving dump trucks, flatbeds, or other commercial vehicles used in construction and utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate commercial trucks (dump truck, flatbed, etc.) to transport materials and equipment

- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

- Load and unload materials using appropriate tools or assist with securing loads

- Deliver to job sites in a timely and efficient manner, following all traffic and safety laws

- Communicate with site supervisors or dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

- Ensure truck is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with DOT regulations
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record

- Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience, preferably in construction or utility work

- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices

- Ability to lift and secure heavy loads as needed

- Good communication skills and punctuality
Preferred Skills:

- Experience hauling aggregates, machinery, or construction materials

- Forklift or equipment loading experience

- Basic mechanical skills for minor truck troubleshooting
Work Environment:

- Primarily on the road and job sites

- Must be able to drive in varying weather and terrain conditions

- Occasional overtime or early morning shifts depending on project needs
